EA Play membership not being honoured
I have an EA Play membership, courtesy of XBox PC Game Pass. There are no problems with that service, I have played other games connected through that service with no issue. Battlefield 2042 however is giving me issues.
When I load up EA App on PC, it does not recognise my active membership. I am treated as if I do not have a membership when trying to play Battlefield 2042. It says "trial expired, 0hrs remaining".
Elsewhere in the same EA App though, it does show "current membership" in the table of differences between EA Play & EA Play Pro, indicating it knows I do have a membership. Also, my online account at ea.com shows my membership has been active since 2021.

I have spoken to 5 different EA Help support staff all of whom were unable (or in the case of 3 of them, just completely unwilling) to help me resolve the issue.
All 4 of these cases I've sought help on the same issue & gotten nowhere, just ended up wasting my time and being let down by how poor the EA customer support experience is.
The two support staff who provided the most help were Ajit & Robin. Robin was the closest to getting my issue fixed, it seemed like they'd actually discovered what the cause was-- but were unable to do anything about it.
Can someone with authority please please look into this issue & resolve whatever back-end problem is leaving BF2042 on my account in a state of limbo?
