Just to confirm, is this issue with BF2042 or BF V? I see you mentioned BF2042 in your message, but in the screenshot, it shows that the EA app is trying to launch BF V.
If it was BF2042, there was an update this Monday that might have fixed this for you. Can you please try updating your game and let us know how that goes?
