Error 1:86001S:66003S:-10571258760:0B
Recently purchased a license for Battlefield 2042 through steam during the Halloween sale...
Installed the game without any issues I noted...
After installation, the moment you see the first windows of Battlefield 2042, stating it's connecting to online services I do keep on receiving the same error message, more specified: Error 1:86001S:66003S:-10571258760:0B
I've been with chat support since and got in the game once during chat support, but no reason why... Tried to launch it again, now 2 days later, same issue occurs.
Steps already done to resolve this
- Checking Windows integrity using sfc => first time corruptions were fixed, with second time none found
- Checking Game integrity using Steam => all fine, second time an update followed after the check
- Drivers are update to latest
- Windows updates are to latest for my system (Windows 11 23H2)
- Tried with clean boot (only EA services were active, or game wouldn't even start loading) => no effect
- Tried removing EAAntiCheat (during last chat support), restart system, install latest version of EAAntiCheat downloaded from EA directly => no effect
At present time support ain't able to resolve the issue and for me this is the only game I'm having which is having issues as well.
Perhaps this issue is known to you and you might know a workaround so I can play the game? Please let me know, even if it won't resolve it... It's worth a shot 😉
