Exception Code 0xc0000005. Game crash
10-60 minutes into gameplay game crashes with Exception Code 0xc0000005 in logs. How to fix this? Tried everything, from downgrading to 577.00 driver to reinstalling ea app, eaac and game itself.
After a few minutes, the problem was resolved. Here are the steps that led to its resolution:
- Uninstall completely EAAntiCheat via
EAAntiCheat.Installer.exe > \Battlefield 2042\EAAntiCheat (folder)
-Uninstall completely EAAntiCheat file in \Battlefield 2042 (folder)
- Checked and repaired system files via CMD
(always open CMD in Administrator)sfc /scannow (In first) DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth (in seconde after sfc /scannow is finish)Grant full permissions to all users for the files :
-> C:\Program Files\EA
-> And the folder where the game is located "Battlefield 2042" (may vary)
---Restart your computer---
- Install EAAntiCheat via EAAntiCheat.Installer.exe > \Battlefield 2042\EAAntiCheat
-Verify integrity of the game via steam (EA app it's "repair")
- And launch the game
