False positive ban after month of not playing

So I decided to get back on bf2042 after months of not playing... I update, launch the game, start playing. 1 minute into play I get an error. "player was ejected from the game because Easy anti-chea...

    Hi @Klorasaurox, try running EAC and Battlefield 2042 as admin also verify your game files.

Have you tried rebooting? I had that happen once, no idea why (although was a slightly different error but was EAC related). But I don't want you to get banned on my advice. Could also try running a repair on the game or an uninstall/reinstall to be safe?

Do you use any screen overlay software like Rivaturner etc?
