update plz
After this new update my cpu usage up to 100% and the input lag has never been so high like now.
I have 12700K, RTX 3080 etc..I think this issue is related to the Time Nudge issue that I keep having. The CPU pegs at 100% and I keep getting massive Time Nudge increases even when nothing is going on.

Something cause an issue, try a cleanboot to see if it get solved.
update us! Did all that, posted in the other thread. Even provided gameplay footage. They say it's due to dropped frames, but I have a Ryzen 7800, GeForce 3080 and 64GB of RAM....even when I turn detail all the way down, nothing changes.
But it's definitely something server side because the game runs fine on most portal servers.
I started the game today with the previous settings that allowed me to play the game half-decently in season 3, with controls still responding, rate of fire of weapons not fluctuating.
All of that is useless, game just ignores everything and sucks the sweet bjeesus out of the cpu, might as well throw two eggs and some bacon on it the moment I open the game...
Quite an achievement to f it up even further xd
The official solution does not work any longer, config file, playing around with settings (been doing this for the past 5h), deleting the cache do not help.
Also today I was forced off origin to use the EA app, this being somehow even worse than origin when it comes to bugs and everything.
It's starting to become really hard to not be rude, at least I didn't buy the game and know for sure I'm canceling the subscription until (if ever) this gets fixed.
I know my specs aren't top notch, and normally I wouldn't even complain if that were the case, but it ran great before season 3, better than bf5.still having this problem in season 4. Is there still really no fix for this? I do really enjoy playing this game but I'm always hesitant to launch and play the game because i dont want my cpu (i7 11400f) to have to deal with a 100% work load for however long i decide to play for potentially killing it or reducing its lifespan just because the game wont use my 3600ti or even ram. just wanting an update on how this bug is being fixed as it has been 3 months of this bug.

unless airflow / cooling is crap in youre system !
Cheers I5-9600k the following user.cfg lines fixed my recurent freezes/times nudge :
Thread.MaxProcessorCount 3
Thread.ProcessorCount 3The cpu is still running at 100%.
The game is smooth but i have some fps drops when there is a lot of action around me in game which leads to freeze, which is normal regarding the 100% CPU issue.
Guys, i've just completely fixed my issue, the game is so smooth !
My setup is the following:
-i5 9600K
-ASUS TUF Z390-Pro
-16go DDR4 3000mhz C16
-3080Ti FE
-34" Xiaomi monitor (G-Sync Compatible)
First, i've added the user.cfg with the following ( YOU MUST ADJUST THE COUNT REGARDING YOU CPU CORE/THREAD ) :
Thread.MaxProcessorCount 3
Thread.ProcessorCount 3
Then i've done the following (Set up Windows settings and game graphic settings) :
https://exputer.com/guides/settings/battlefield-2042/If you don't see 'Image Sharpening" option just google "how to...", by default it was not present on my side.
Then i've done the following which i think is VERY important and most freeze/time nudge are coming from this "issue", so do this ( fix vrate ) :
https://www.displayninja.com/what-is-freesync-brightness-flickering/Finally the game is more beautiful, smooth, my CPU is not 100% but 95-98% (checked with MSI Afterburner OSD thing).
I hope it will help some of you.
