Hi Everybody,After the latest update, Battlefield 2042 resets completely every time I close and reopen it.I am facing two main issues:Every launch forces me to watch the introduction and play the prologue match against AI. None of my main settings save.When joining customized Portal servers, I have to re-configure everything (like mouse binding / graphic settings and so on) from scratch every single time.It seems the game is unable to save or write any configuration files to my Documents folder

I’ve gathered a few workarounds below that may be worth trying: Some players found that their PC or security settings were blocking certain EA app/game actions. In those cases, manually allowing the app fixed the issue. Try adding the game folder to the exclusions list in Windows Defender and your antivirus software. Game settings reset and introduction cinematic plays everytime I launch the game

Hi Everybody,

After the latest update, Battlefield 2042 resets completely every time I close and reopen it.

I am facing two main issues:

Every launch forces me to watch the introduction and play the prologue match against AI. None of my main settings save.
When joining customized Portal servers, I have to re-configure everything (like mouse binding / graphic settings and so on) from scratch every single time.

It seems the game is unable to save or write any configuration files to my Documents folder

Small update: everytime i click on play button on EA I faced the attached erros with code EC:10607, I think this
is the point?

Something is not saving from your games PROFsave folder in the games file location on pc or something is blocking syncing with EA cloud. Don't know if this is resolved or not for you but I recommend finding the profsave file, located something like this [C:\Users\(**your pc user name)**\Documents\Battlefield 2042\settings] and opening it with notepad, select all and copy into new notepad file as a backup to replace with the existing one that seems to either not save as settings are made in the game or something something else keeps reverting it back. Temp work around.
