Your problem is very strange. I solved a similar case a few days ago, and it was related to a HDD with a pagefile. But there was no packet loss, only a drop in CPU and GPU usage.
You can try this to see if this might help us see changes :
- Go to your Documents folder.
- Move your “Battlefield 2042” folder to your desktop.
- Launch your game (this will add a new folder to your Documents folder).
This will reset all game settings, but don't worry, your settings will still be on your desktop.
- Once your game has loaded, don't change anything and start a game session.
If you still don't see any changes, delete the “Battlefield 2042” folder in your documents and replace it with the one you dragged to your desktop.

Can you try to disable AMD optimizations for Battlefield 2042 via the AMD Adrenalin app.
Once in the application, go to the "gaming" tab, select your game “Battlefield 2042” and disable all optimizations related to the game as shown in the image.
