Issues since latest patch 9.2.1

Two things I've had issues with since the latest patch.  

One - massive lag spikes.  1,200ms pings sustained for several seconds.  It  doesn't disconnect me, but can't move without rubberbanding all over the place.

Two - Long loading times for textures in the map.  10-20 seconds of gameplay before the LOD increases.

Had BF2042 crash on me for the first time in years today.  Froze up solid needing an Alt-F4 to quit.  Lots of issues over the last 3 patches, first was massive FPS drop (dropped to 15-25 fps from 150) with 9.1.0,nothing I could do would fix it, the only thing that worked was to reinstall the Nvidia drivers every time I played. 9.2.0 magically fixed the graphical issues, and now this.  With BF6 coming out the QC for 2042 has really dropped.
