Another thing i noticed is certain keybindings in the vehicle section (and even pilot if i remember correctly) are marked with a console button to clear them, instead of holding escape in the mouse column. They might have overlooked a mix crossing between both mouse/keyboard and console input that way and perhaps this would solve the issue of the non responsive keybind clearings causing to have the freelook not being cleared at all. Just a thought.Fyi : Using an old RAT 7 gaming mouse with programmable mousekeys. While remapping it also didn't recognise some thumb buttons that were set on normal letter keyboardkeys, yet were seen as default state : "mouse button 3 - mouse button 4".

Any fix for arrow keys coming? Infantry only modes do not exist in 2042 and driving with this is impossible....

Still no fix, 2 more patches and nothing....Any official news when this bug will be fixed? Game has no infantry modes and if we play with arrows we cant drive properly 60% of all ingame vehicles.

Left-handers:
1) Put the A and D keys on soldier, vehicles (menu game BF 2042).
2) Open the program and place the arrows: right > D , left > A.
No input lag.

@audazsagaz Why are you posting this which has nothing to do with the issue that left arrow and right arrow cant be unbind and is always connected to look left/right?

@Radious1987if you had done what I said, your problem would have been solved. I am left-handed and was experiencing this problem exactly. That solved it. The camera stopped being "free look" when I moved the vehicle.

you will probably say it didn't work. But all left-handers who have done this, the bug has been fixed. They managed to move the vehicle left and right, without the camera moving with it. the battle tank doesn't have this problem, but the other vehicles did. If you put A for left and D for right in the game for all vehicles, including the battle tank (and the soldier too, even though he has no problems, just so that everyone can move using A and D in the game, but on the keyboard, due to the remapping, the left and right arrow keys, have the emulation of the A and D key. . ), and use the key remapper to put A as left arrow and D as right arrow, then everything is perfect as it should be.
