Massive Packet loss 2042 servers, Portal works FINE.

I'm in the same boat here with a very similar  PC build - This is torture...  I can't believe I paid an extra $50 bucks for this early access. 

I would honestly refund it.  I don't think it's hard if you used anybody other than steam, even EA.

BTW.  I have all my settings on low and all the extra fluff turned off, drivers up to date and cold booted my computer.  Whatever is going on isn't on our end, it's something that needs to be addressed and fixed.

Have the exact same problem. Did everything that was suggested by other ppl (where it apparently worked), nothings works. Computer is fine and specs are good enough for the gema. Problem is not on my end..

Running all settings low and with no thrills and it's like trying to run about but encased in jelly, mixed with sliding on ice, very sluggish movement, terrible rubber banding, just an awful overall experience, no chance of hitting anything that jumps wildly across your screen. Game looks lovely, shame it's like this. Using a RTX 2070 S with a 7600K, 16GB, Win 10. PC chews through most games fine, apart from this one, tried most fixes with zero luck.

I FIGURRRRRED IT OUUUUUUUT!!!! It’s CAT 5E cable!!!! Go to Walmart and buy CAT 6e for $5… PROBLEM SOLVED!!!!!

Same issue with me the weird thing is my PING 10-17 and the packet loss RED my PC specific is 

i9-12900k, RTX 3080ti, 32gb ram, i hope if there is any solutions to fix that i tried everything except two methods changing the Cable to CAT6 or higher, and the other method Disabling the TPM from the BIOS and i didn’t do it yet.. i hope if that will help anyone who looking for solutions, don’t forget to answer me if one of them worked with you. 

I plan on going out to get a cat6e from Walmart tonight. If it works I'll let you know! 

Got the cable and I think it has helped out. I'd suggest giving it a shot as they're pretty cheap. 

I've had cat 6e straight from my modem to my PC since day one and it's still an issue.
