PC BF2042 Sound is Very muffled

I have this problem too 

Only started playing again last night and same problem..... Sound very low. Will have to go back to call of duty again I guess. Couldn't play woth very little sound

I must admin than COD is REALLY more immersive... And I love BF2042

If your using PC, try lowering the sound quality settings. I had this same problem when upgraded to windows 11.

If this doesnt work, google audio problems, their are lots of potential fixes. 

Apparently, this broken game has lots of issue including this muffled sound in game. I find this a very stupid thing to happened because it sounds like the work is not done properly! You know about GIGO? Garbage In Garbage Out. This is what it is! Funny thing the sound is muffled happened to me especially while using a wireless headset. Now don't go on with the audio driver etc. Everything is perfect except for this game. 

I am using Corsair HS80 Wireless Headset. All other games such as Cyberpunk 2077 works fine while using the headset in wireless mode. This Battlefield 2042 is a really broken game. 

A simple fix for me is to use my headset as a wired connection. I'm lucky since this headset allows me to do so, however I'm guessing it is not so for other gamers. 

I felt this is the worse Battlefield series of all time. My worst purchase ever. Well, everything coming out from EA/Dice now is of low quality and not up to a standard. Perhaps this gaming company does not even follow any ISO Standard or equivalent. Hence, they always think they can get away while creating a low par product for all of us gamers. I will no longer support this company and their product nor should you. Hoping a fix for this problem will be a pipe dream. Each update introduced another broken thing about this game. What a shame. Shame on you EA/Dice!!!
