Persistence Error in 2024
Good Evening, I have been battling this game since the very first instance of the persistence issues arose. It seems to be that the game/servers/god chooses when I can play with my friends. Just earlier I was playing for about 3 hours perfectly fine by myself. And when one of my friends came online who is an xbox user the first match we try to get into I get the error. No fix that has ever been posted can resolve this issue. Once this happens the only thing that fixes the issue is getting off the game for a few hours logging back on and hopefully the game allows me to play. Even then it doesn't work half the time. This issue has been going on FOR YEARS and it is still unresolved. I can't find the original post about this so I making a new one in light that maybe one person, one angel, can get a fix that may work. And just for reference I can log into the game fine it's literally only loading into a match. And before anyone says it's my connection the my internet or anything like that, I am hardwired into my router and I have 1Gb upload/download.
For reference these are all the fixes I have tried;
- Uninstall/Reinstall the game
- Flush DNS and restart computer
- Use OpenDNS & Google DNS services
- Simply just restarting my computer when the issue happens
- Turning off and on crossplay
- Reinstalling windows (this one was a longshot lmao)
- unplugging my router for 30-45 seconds and plugging it back in
- Cleared my download cache
- Deleted the /Battlefield2042/Cache folder in the game files
I hope this post doesn't get lost in the sauce and someone literally anyone from EA sees this and address the community once and for all.
