@KRASSSERGAMER Run ea app or ea ac installation as an administrator.
Update us what it did for you , cheers
ps make sure ya deleted all ea ac folders and files first (also the hidden ones)
C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\EAAntiCheat.Installer.Tool
C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\EasyAntiCheat
C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\EA\AC
Deleta ALL content or even the folders mentioned above here
C:\ProgramData\eaanticheat
C:\Program Files\EA
C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 2042\EAAntiCheat
Delete the content of ALL those folders
ya could also delete those files at :
C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 2042 <<<--- (this is standard install location, can be differentr at your system!)
EAAntiCheat.cfg
EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher.dll
EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher.exe
EAAntiCheat.splash.png
Now make sure ya dont boot EA APP/STEAM during boot windows !!!!!!
Reboot system
Start up ea app/steam AS AN ADMINISTRATOR.
Now repair/verify game files.
Test game and keep us uptodate please.
@Rokebo73 did not work sadly.
service: EAAntiCheatService gets stuck on "launching" after splash screen gives error (7) 🏈, security violation pops up (30) and service will shut down.
in roaming service gets deleted but Cache and Installer remain, sadly no crash dumps there under programdata/eaanticheat/crashdumps
i added the Backgroundservice log maybe u can see something in that.

@KRASSSERGAMER ok lets do a cleanboot.
reboot pc by a clean boot:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/how-to-perform-a-clean-boot-in-windows-da2f9573-6eec-00ad-2f8a-a97a1807f3dd
Hide all Microsoft services, DISABLE (uncheck) ALL other processes, apps and services !
I suggest doing a clean boot first to isolate and identify the application that is causing the issue.
A “clean boot” starts Windows with a minimal set of drivers and startup programs so that you can determine whether a background program is interfering with your game or program.
- In the search box on the taskbar, type msconfig and select System Configuration from the results.
- On the Services tab of System Configuration, select Hide all Microsoft services, and then select Disable all.
- On the Startup tab of System Configuration, select Open Task Manager.
- Under Startup in Task Manager, for each startup item, select the item and then select Disable.
- Close Task Manager.
- On the Startup tab of System Configuration, select OK. When you restart the computer, it's in a clean boot environment.
Ps dont deactivate ea app background process and the EA AC process, else game will not launch at all.
Just test game. if it works then we need to check for other software that is tricking this issue.
Follow the instruction, do not exclude any process, otherwise its harder to find the cullprit !
Cheersps do this also:
Press Wndows key + R, now typ CMD , hold down CTRL+SHIFT button and press ENTER.
In the UAC windows select YES.
Now enter this commandtasklist>C:\serviceslist.txt
At youre C: drive is now a file, serviceslist.txt , post this file please ! - 8 months ago
@Rokebo73 didnt work, also i tried clean boot on old OS where i did a clean boot aswell.

@KRASSSERGAMER ok i dont see any "weird" process.
please check this site, do all 3 steps (step 3 fort log, post it here please !)https://www.elevenforum.com/t/use-system-file-checker-sfc-to-repair-system-files-in-windows-11.720/
--->>> maybe a system restore can help ya, choose a restore point before ya deleted DELTA FORCE
--->>> use this only when it didnt solve your issue !
If step 1 / 2 / 3 and even a system restore didnt fix the issue, then we will check for a other solution , Cheers
keep us uptodate !!!!! - 8 months ago@Rokebo73 i did sfc before infact tried everything from (https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues/Please-Help-EA-AntiCheat-error-7-2/m-p/14313986#M62686), and there is no restorepoint left since this is a fresher than fresh OS install, i removed the old one and put the new clean NVME in for best chances.. i also tried without any other hard drive/ssd in it
- Rokebo738 months agoSeasoned Ace@KRASSSERGAMER please do those 3 steps, got some extra commands in it.
Also post the log ya create , thanks - 8 months ago

one more thing to add..
is there any logfile to that?
- Rokebo738 months agoSeasoned Ace@KRASSSERGAMER yeah your partitions are a bit messy.
All partitions in use ?
I also see dvd/cdrom drive is at sata port 0, make sure ya boot drive is at sata port 0. (do ya use this dvd/cdrom ?)
Are all those partitions in use ? is there data on it ? (cant move all data to 1 partiton for now (then disconnect that drive) , so ya are able to re-partition everything again ?
No errors during SFC / DISM commands? (any reapairs?)
Did ya change any setting in bios for security ?
I did send ya a mail , check inbox !

I have the same error and its effecting all my ea games with anticheat. I work as a support tech and have wiped my os and still get the same error. This is def an issue with the anti cheat app. Nothing short of a new version of the app will fix this,
- 8 months ago@damothegray for me its only BF 2042, like really just that apex, all other battlefields just run... for BF 2042 ac service launches and crashes because it cant "FIND" path.... nonsense
- Rokebo738 months agoSeasoned Ace@KRASSSwhat windows version do ya all run ?
Make sure windows is full update. - 8 months ago@Rokebo73 u know, ive tried every version, first 10 latest build, win11 with secure boot, win10 with 24h2 and latest +nvidia 560 and latest... nothing worked and its literally really just 2042
- Rokebo738 months agoSeasoned Ace@KRASSSERGAMER Ya mean windows 11 24h2?
I did see one topic, got ea ac solved by installing BFV.
BFV did install/repair EA AC , now he can play BF2042 without any issues !

@KRASSSERGAMER Have you tried adding a new administrative user account in Windows?
1) Add a user account: (choose option C 'Add a user without a Microsoft account')
2) Configure a user as an administrator after you create the new user account:
3) Log into the new user account and try to play Battlefield 2042.

For me its a hardware issue with my fanatec wheel base. Once I change it to Orange the problem went away.Shouldn't have an effect on anything else so I'll leave it and consider it fixed for now. Its nothing to do with Software, I wiped and installed windows on a fresh machine with only ea app and the game and the error was still there. EA need to update their anti cheat it has so many issues. After dealing with their support or lack of I will never buy an ea game again. Basically you contact support to be told forum sugusstions from users and when they don't work your call is closed no fix and your told to post in the forums. My god I've never heard the likes of it. I have hundreds maybe even thousands spent on EA games, they won't get a penny off me again. Maybe on console but never for pc.
- 8 months ago@OskooI_007 there is and never was any problem with admin rights.
i got it running btw via Steam now. it just didnt want to run with the EA version
heres what i did after i lost all hope in life:
i changed language and spam uninstalled and reinstalled AC for BF2042 only like 50 times and then it ran somehow dont ask me how, didnt change anything windows related it just ran after that xd - 7 months ago
Anyone fixed it? EA, stop f...ing around.. I just bought the game and can't play it
