@EA_Atic STill no word from developers, or community managers abouit this topic ? Because its certainly getting social media coverage on youtube, facebook, reddit and so on... And trust me, the list is loooong. Even "Dealer Gaming" had to touch this topic in his pod cats when i asked him about it. Not so long ago he said.. He has the RDX Podcats on youtube.
There is a lot of frustration going around that we are forced to play with hackers on console. And for some, mnk might be a issue as well... The hackers is my main concern honestly. Makes the game, NOT fun. And people are having to sort to XP farming just to get the battlepass they paid for at times.. Now tha is bad.
Why arnt we getting any info on this topic, like "we are actually looking into this"; or "we are working on it", because the reason things are as they are. is because the game is set to cross play enabled by default. ANd most people dont turn it off, because when they do, its impossible to find a match. So they are forced to leave it on, if they want to find a match at all. This is why it should be disabled with a patch update for the game, and the ones that want to play with pc, they can turn it back on.
I just dont understand, why DICE isnt making any statements about this at all ?? Are they even looking into it ?? im asking a legit question. Are they looking into it, or even working on such a patch ?? are they even going to consider it ? As a faithful battlefield player, since bad company, i feel the community should get to know if they are even considering disabling crossplay by default on consoles ? The draw back from the decision of having it eneabled in the first place seems to be massive online/globally. So i cant for understand why they dont want to get this fixed as soon as possible... Would take away so much complaints about the game, and it would actually boost player count of the game on console if anything. More players, means more money... the math is simple. But the logic behind them not fixing this, is very hard to understand. Especially, if they arnt even looking into this ?
Can you please provide us with information, as we have actually bought the game to play it, on the promises made by dice....BEing able to choose if we want to play cross platform or not. And that sure is NOT the reality of things.
Due to the lack of information, i contacted a journalist, that has been in contact with the person leading battlefield 2042 (a month or two back). Hoping he could ask the same questions... And hopefully we might get some answers to what is going on, if anything that is. I mean, is there a point in waiting for something thats not coming, coz there is a point in waiting for something that will come. If this was fixed, battlefield 2042 would be one of the best games on console imo, like seriously.. But not as long as we have to endure PC crossplay by force, not to mention all the hackers and cheaters. And the amount of them, is steggering to be honest. I dont play this on pc, but doesnt this game have a anti cheat or ssomething ????? really doesnt seem that way in some matches tbh
