Do you solved the issue? I'm too on that boat, with 12700k , 3090...
I was able to fix it.
- install Afterburner tool or similar (I am using Precicion X1) to reduce the MHz of your GPU
My RTX 2060 Super Windforce OC is from Gigabyte and is factory overclocked from stock 1650 to 1710 MHz. I set -60 Hz in the tool and now all is good.
By reducing your GPU Speed, which is totaly stupid (big thx to the Devs), I managed to start and play the game without issues.
This is simply a big fail of the DICE Developers GFX Coding Team IMO. And I am sure they can fix it. And I hope they will do it.
It has nothing to do with the Geforce Driver Verison. I tested may of them with no success.
Neither it has to do with OC of CPU or RAM.
- @Jubeihong Do you have a way to monitor your GPU load? MSI After burner or something similar. The issue is caused by a lack of GPU load. Reducing your GPU clock will solve the issue. I know it really sucks, but it has fixed it for me 100%. I have not had a crash in a week or 2 now since doing so on my 6900XT. Luckily AMD lets you reduce GPU clocks on a per game basis so nothing else I play is affected.
- @X0X_Nemesis_X0X You are correct. Same fix works for AMD 6900XT users. The game just isn't loading the GPU up properly. And playing on Ultra doesn't increase load at all.
I dont want to jinx ya bud but to be honest I knocked ~400-500MHz from my 3070 off and it still was crashing, i cant believe 60Mhz off another card is going to make a big difference
Just played a few games with no crashing, but my GPU was set to -450MHz for GPU and Memory
