Hi, I cannot find my microsoft file under LOCAL_MACHINE and Cryptography in my regedit but I have found I think a solution for myself where you delete all files connected to 2042 like the documents, cashe and everything. then uninstall the game to do a total clean reinstall and I also reverted my driver (amd) to 21.11.2 and for now its working today.

This has not worked and its still crashing

I tried the pipeline error fix but after that it just started to instant crash on launch, do you change the "machineguid" name or modify the value data?

@beansV7Try deleting BF2042 folder in My Documents. Then start the game again.
