Have been having this issue since 12/11 (did not have the issue during beta)
First i get the "UNKNOWN ERROR // 2:2600J" message upon launch, if its related or not, i wouldnt know, repairing the game, reinstalling and updating the game did not change it.
To the main issue, i hit "play" the game searches for a while, shows its found a server so its counting down, screen goes black, comes back with an revolving animation of my character then it just goes back to menu.. Until todays patch i have managed to load into a match after 1-10 tries (and waiting each time for the search, countdown and animation)
But now i cant join any game in any mode, even the portal server browser wont work, nothing happens when i click the servers.
Hardware:
Intel i7-2600K @ 4.3GHz
Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 Strix
16 gig ram
100/100 fiber connection
What i have tried;
Restarting Origin.
Repairing the game (several times)
Reinstalling the game
Running with VPN
Running without VPN
Closing the VPN program even if its not connected
Deleting Origin cache
Updating GFX drivers
Restarting the computer
Power off for several hours
Updating the GFX drivers again
Updating the game (made it worse?)
Edit: After each round i have to click the play button several times again, this was pre patch when i was able to load into a match at all..
Edit 2: Example: https://youtu.be/-0w6lfeOcEQ
Edit 3-4-5-6: New things i have tried,
Opening ports in my router
Using Google's DNS
Checked with speedtest and have low ping (6-20, 20 being on the server furthest away i was able to pick in the app) and pretty much a flat speed curve
Tried starting in safemode, the anti cheat wont even start in safemode
Tested during low server pop, around 4.45am my time on a friday morning
Closing Discord
Disabling Nvidia overlay
Disabling Origin in-game
Running Windows memory diagnostic (No faults found)
Powering down pc and pulling main power for 10 minutes
Powering down router and pulling main power for 10 minutes
Edit ihavelostcount:
Did a clean boot
Edit:
A small update, i have managed to play some matches during the weekend, i took a stopwatch and checked how long it would take to get into a match from the first press of the "play button" until it actually loaded a match, i did not count the number of presses however.
Attempts made during friday mid day/evening CET;
1. 6 minutes
2. 7 minutes
3. 50 seconds
4. 18 minutes
5. 25 seconds
6. 2 minutes
7. 3 minutes
8. 6 minutes
9. 2 minutes
10. 8 minutes
Each attempt led to me playing a match, each subsequent attempt was after each match.
As you can se its completely random and i actually can get into matches so the theory about it being on the ISP side seems not to be applicable in this case.
I do not have any problems with high ping issues when i manage to join a match further proving that it isnt my IPS that is "blocking" traffic for the game(?)
I just want to play the game..Please help
