SecureBoot is not enabled. This is how Battlefield 2042 became unplayable.

After the BATTLEFIELD 2042 UPDATE #8.8.0, I cannot start the game due to the error "SecureBoot is not enabled" ... (111). This is not acceptable. I cannot activate SecureBoot because it's not suppor...

You have to make sure the Secure boot is active even if it shows enabled in boot. Video demonstrates how to do this. It's a gigabyte mobo for reference. My game is now working after making sure SecureBoot was active.

Many of us can't have it enabled. I run a linux distro on another drive. Guess what doesn't work when secure boot is enabled.

  I'm sure there is workaround for that.. There is always a way.

Some motherboards like mine do not have secure boot at all. So now I cannot play at all anymore.
