Unable to connect to EA servers - Steam purchase

I can't connect to ea servers when I try play Battlefield 2042, it gives me an error code 1: 468882297O: 100J: 1004G I can't find anywhere a single person who has the same issue. Can someone help PLE...

@itsYins @B0TJU4N , alright I merged both threads real quick. Somewhat handier to keep everything in one place. 🙂

Because I continue with possible troubleshooting steps, I would like to ask you some questions:

  • Are you able to play other EA games via Steam as normal? (You can try it with Apex Legends, for example, this is free)
  • When you login in Origin with the EA account that is connected to your Steam account, do you see BF2042 with a Steam logo?
  • Do you have an antivirus installed? Of so, make an exclusion for BF2042, Origin and Steam or turn it off temporarily > boot-up the game to see if you can connect
  • Can you please post a DxDiag of your system?

@EA_Leeuw Yeah I can play apex, and I tried turning off my antivirus and playing and it still wouldn't work. I was also playing bf5 yesterday and i could play with no problems.
