I have this same issue. I pre-ordered the Standard Edition on Origin, but I also have Game Pass Ultimate. EA Desktop recognizes that I have EA Play and shows the Play logo next to my username, but after pre-loading Battlefield 2042, twice, it still shows that I can only play on 19th Nov. Tried launching it through the Xbox App as well, but it gives an error saying, "Your game failed to launch. An error on our end caused your launch to fail. Try again a little later." Apparently, EA publicly said that they solved all the issues, but they didn't.
Same situation - Sad that pre-purchasing the game is making it so we can not play it- Should be given access here - ... not expecting a fix here just a delay to play.
