I found the fix to the deadzone issue... hard to believe someone else didn't experience/fix this until now:

@DarthTazr I'm very happy that others noticed this problem too because I was afraid that it may be intentional. (Playing on the series X)

I also have this problem on other VTOL aircraft while in hovering mode.

And I also posted this in bug in this forum, please push it too so it gets noticed and fixed soon.
