You ever shoot a shotgun in the real world buddy? Like, a for real honest too goodness Remington 870/M870 or Mossberg 500/590?
Those are pump action shotguns exactly like the current shotgun in game. Believe me, an experience dude can shoot a pump-gun WAAAAAY Faster. As for the firepower (range and stopping power) of the current ingame shotgun it honestly needs buffed if anything, but it is absolutely fine as is.
Boy, I can't wait to see your mind blown by semi-auto shotguns, and then Automatic shotguns.
Balancing a game has nothing to do with real life, buddy, pumpy it's a lot of fun to use, everbody realized that because it's OP and got to be tuned down a bit either firerate or range, alternatively everything else needs to be tuned up
Maybe stop being a sissy boy and ask Dice real nice to BUFF other weapons. Because I think the other guns are pretty lacking for the most part. But I don't blame you, in particular, or at all really. I blame DICE for doing weird dumb**bleep** to guns for the longest time, my personal ire weapons are the M2010 ESR and the SVK. M2010 fires .300 Winchester Magnum. the SVK fires 8.6x70... Or to normal people... .338 Laupa Magnum. But... a .300winmag kills with a single headshot, while the .338 LM is a bigger, heavier, and FASTER round takes two... Weird...
I agree with this. I think guns should function they way they do in real life. Give it the same fire rate it has. Not just make it slower because another person can't handle reality.
Have you ever shot a real LMG? This is a game. It's not real. The make believe weapons are not real. They are computer code not a Remington or Mossberg. In the real world it doesn't take more than one headshot with an LMG to kill someone. It doesn't take 7 hits to take someone down with an assault rifle. In the real world people don't run away when a tank round lands 5 ft from them. They die. This is a game controlled by code. Not real life situations.
Apparently some of the sniper rifles are even a two shot head kill at range. I thinking if a bullet enters your head at 300 meters (or any distance), your not going to continue to be able to aim and shoot back. Oh wait it's a game not real life.
Babygirl, I am a U.S. Marine, I'm a pog (Engineer and MSG) But a Marine all the same. I have shot most of the weapons in this game, or their counter-parts. Some of them... and this is crazy. I have even shot them at... PEOPLE! And contrary to your belief, I having witnessed with my own eyes, have seen people catch a 20 round burst of 5.56 from a SAW and get up and run away while bleeding out, because the military uses FULL METAL JACKET BALL AMMUNITION.
We understand, this is a game. There is a certain suspension of belief to be had here since it is FaNtaSy!
Is that all you have to say? "iTs A gAmE" The game is supposed to be BALANCED. Right now, it isn't. By jacking with the Shotgun and the Machine guns they have created a META of SPX and M4A1. We, are giving feedback to FIX what is broken and wrong with what has been presented to us so that the game is enjoyable for those who play it. Because! Like you said, when you are in the killzone of an 120mm HE round, you shouldn't walk away.
My take away from your post here is you are either incredibly dumb, or incredibly young. Which is it?
