Battlefield 6 is causing my base Ps5 to overheat and full on 3 beeps of death crash. I have never had overheating issues before, even during heatwaves we had in June and July. Backup all saves in case this game bricks your console!

Dude I just bought a fresh new ps5 pro from the store because I was sure my old ps5 is dead because of the overheating message and I get the same freaking message on the new ps5 pro!.

My PS5 is having the same issue. Never had overheating problems before. Last night it randomly shut off 3 separate times with no warning while I was playing the BF6 Beta. The console would only turn back on once I unplugged it and plugged it back in. I am taking it in for a deep clean tomorrow so hopefully that helps. Fingers crossed this is just a beta issue and won’t carry over into the full game.
Yep guys, im getting the same issue. Never had this before. Always clean my PS5 fan and this only started happening in this Beta. Seems like its most common on Siege on Cairo map. Hope the devs look into this.
Same here. Had it happen two separate times today. Doesn't feel all too hot, just normal gaming session heat. But crashed completely and needed to unplug to get it back on. Power button won't even make a beep sound until after unplug.

My PS5 also crashes. Mine is very old and i used to have this problem with every game. After I cleaned out the dust and bought an extra fan, the problems went away. However, it’s happening again with Battlefield 6.
I have been experiencing the same issue. What is scarier is that BF6 isn't the only game. I was convinced it was my PS5 because it started happening this month with Tony Hawk 3+4 remake, not even a graphically intensive game. But it happens on no other games I tried. Not Rocket League, Not Baldurs Gate 3, not god of war Ragnarok. I've been scouring the web trying to find similar issues but had no luck. Now that everyone is playing this, either we are all discovering our PS5's are dying, or that it can't handle modern games, or there's something going on here where some games can hard crash your console, which to be honest is a problem I have never once had with any console.
