Great tips.
If there's one thing I'd like to add is that you should play with a goal/game plan in mind. Ask yourself "What do I want to accomplish this round?" and just go for it.
If you want to win, making sure that flags are captured and enemy vehicles are destroyed are always good goals.
Camping is a valid tactic and can certainly be used whenever is necessary. However, do keep in mind that when you're camping, you could also be doing other things that are more helpful to you and your team.
If you want to get a good score and more kills, an important thing to keep in mind is that you want to reduce the time you engage in passive gameplay. You need to be making your own opportunities as much as possible.
Other than that, just have fun. You can't be sweaty all the time, so take your time to mess around and try out new things. Playing like a complete madman can sometimes be surprisingly effective.
