Battlefield 6 is a brilliantly designed multiplayer game…even better than BF4 or BFV which is tough to beat. The only drawback I have found is when the f-word is yelled out by the in-game character each time they’re “knocked” and ask to be revived. Yelling an f-bomb every time is just unnecessary, and it doesn’t add to the gameplay experience whatsoever. I realize the game rating allows it, but that doesn’t mean its use is beneficial. I would only ask that EA look into adding a profanity filter to remove these profane phrases for those thousands/millions of fans that would enjoy the game that much more without it. But for those that enjoy the profanity…keep it in.

I understand your point about the violence. For sure, it’s a FPS and violence comes with the territory, like any other game. However, it’s a choice of convenience. Knowing that millions of kids will purchase the game - Does yelling out the most graphic, profane swear actually enhance the gameplay? No. Would it harm anyone to have a filter put in? No. When millions of players have the game playing within earshot for kids to hear, would it not be convenient to be able to mute the F-bombs? Yes.

I get it for sure. I’m just saying for those that may wish to mute those words, give them the option. For those that don’t want to hear it, leave it out. The game itself has muted violence because the audience can only stand so much - do we see limbs blown off or brains squished out? Are entrails scattered everywhere? No, because that goes too far. All I’m saying is that I’m sure millions of players would probably make use of the profanity filter if it was available.

You are spot on. So many people would love this option. I'm not buying the game because they haven't included it. I'm BF3 and 4 we had the option to change dialogs to a foreign language. I'd even be okay with that.I can't support your views enough. I tried reaching out to various people at Dice/EA and was mostly ignored. I'm afraid it's just the way the world is moving.In some places you can be issued a disorderly conduct citation for using f bombs in front of minors. Yet, people continue to act like it's nothing, and don't think it's even endearing for children and young teens to curse like this. I support you man. I wish we could bring about an option that would cater to more.

I appreciate your candor. The fact is, FPS are fun and every age group plays them. My only request would be to limit the constant f-bombs by choice. If you want them, go for it. Not even considering removing them. But language and violence are two separate things. For the 10-20% that would prefer to have it off, why not allow that. Do you turn off Motion Blur? Can you adjust controller sensitivity? Can you change Hit indicator color? Then why not a choice to turn off profane language?

The game is rated M for Mature 17+. If kids are playing it, it's a parenting issue, not a developer/design issue.

I'm asking for an option to be put in the game. It's an option many would like to have. If you want more kids using the F word, congrats you get your wish.
You can immerse yourself however you want. Don't tell me how to parent. You wouldn't have to use it. I'm surprised more like you don't ask for an option to have additional profanity added to the game.
Don't use these forums "if it bothers you that much". You're a hypocrite because you're doing the same things you appear to dislike.

If you had any sense you'd know that even though kids shouldn't be playing this, there is a big percentage that will. Jesus has nothing to do with this game, leave him out of it.
If you love profanity great. Many of us don't. It's not bad to have the option. If having that option upsets you, you should really speak to a professional.
This doesn't affect you. You wouldn't use it if it were in the game any way. Just let it go, Elsa!

What's nonsensical is that the characters yell out f bombs but chat is censored with no option to disable the censoring. So some twit uses a swear word and the announcer says "hashtag hashtag hashtag hashtag" if you have that on. Why not let us disable the chat censoring? As long as it's an option to have it there or not.

I have young children and whenever I get shot in the game and call for medics they cuss they should 100% be an option To take out the curse words, I have to mute it every time!!! Come on EA add the option.

Just imagine… showing your “young kids” how much fun in killing people, how good it is to plant a bomb or demolish a lot of someone’s property just to kill so-called “enemy”, and melt down over “f-word”. What a clown world
