I pre-ordered BF6 on steam months ago finally I waited anxiously Friday for 10AM and I was on having a blast getting destroyed but finally HAPPY TO BE ON BF7. Yesterday evening I got home from work ready to play and said I was permanently banned?! I have no cases or penalties showing on my account to even submit an appeal I downloaded my player info and it shows a penalty for COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE? I purchased on STEAM.
You are not alone my friend. There are many of us, but there is no way to appeal to it since we all have nothing in history. We are waiting for any Moderator to tell us what to do with it. I hope someone will take a look at that bug soon

Refund the game your not getting any help. I have the same issue I had to refund it on steam and create a new ea account to play. Banning people for bad anti cheat is one thing, but having no functioning appeal system is a lack of care.
Same here… I’ve been digging to what the cause was and here is what I think. On release day I was one of EA app purchasers that had to wait all day, while waiting I found that I could play on the “community” maps. I got into one match and it was basically one team surrounding another team getting spawned trapped. I sat in there for a little trying to figure out what was going on, ya I got some kills, but when I realized, I left and that was it. That’s the only thing I can thing that I got banned for. But WTF is that community game/map/type even aloud there in the first place. Not like I even knew WTH was going on!
I requested a refund via steam was denied I did a 24HR stream when it released well over the 2HR threshold! 😩
kingofdacast1e5 If you’ve already been banned on Steam, some users report that about an hour later they also get banned on EA Play. It’s most likely that the anti-cheat system is mistakenly detecting some background program as a cheat.
Same here. 12h played. If they not fix it, at least i will know to not buy EA games every again.
this is what happened to me. played some AI bot matches in community cause i couldnt load into offical and then 18hours later get a email saying banned for cheating or exploits

i only played 2.5hours... i get limited time to play... all these people saying bye cheater and stuff like yea ima toss 70 bucks down the drain to cheat for the little time i can play and risk not ever being able to play my favorite FPS title.
