I agree with some of your points. I think BF6 is a big improvement over BF2042, but it doesn't dethrone BF3 or BF4. I don't like either of the NYC maps, but I'm fine with the others for now. With the current maps being small, the constant chaos gets to be much after a few hours. To me, all the maps feel the same, except for Liberation Peak. Hopefully they release larger maps in the future like Golmud Railway.
As someone mentioned earlier, the directional audio is terrible. You can't tell where someone's footsteps are coming from. The audio from earlier battlefield games was great. Anyway, I think BF6 is a step in the right direction. When BF2042 was released, I thought the series was doomed for good.
