Battlefield 6 Devs Hate Fun: Minimap Glued to Corner Like It Owes Them Rent
Listen up, you pixel-peeking, bush-wookie wannabes. I’ve got a real crisis on my hands, and it’s not the fact that my K/D is hovering somewhere between “potato” and “actual vegetable.” No, it’s the MINIMAP. That smug little rectangle squatting in the bottom-left like it’s paying mortgage on prime HUD real estate.
I’m trying to pone noobs, people. Pone. As in, dominate with such surgical precision that their grandkids will feel the L. But I can’t do that when I’m craning my neck like a giraffe at a drive-thru just to spot the red dot that’s clearly flanking me from the right. My eyes are doing cardio. My situational awareness? Comatose.
I have memorized spawns. I’ve also memorized the exact pixel where my minimap refuses to move. It’s like the devs superglued it there and threw away the tube. “Customizable UI? Lol, touch our sacred rectangle and we ban you to 64-player Metro.”
I’ve tried everything:
- Squinting
- Turning my monitor 45 degrees (neck cramps, 0/10)
- Praying to the ghost of Battlefield 1942
Nothing. The minimap stays put, laughing at me in 4K while I get sniped by a guy named xX_360NoScope_Xx because I was too busy playing Where’s Waldo: Enemy Edition.
Proposed Fix: Let me drag that bad boy to the Top-Left. Top-right. Hell, let me slap it on my teammate’s forehead like a Post-it note that says “FLANK HERE, **bleep**.” I want options. I want freedom. I want the minimap to fear me.
Until then, I’ll be in the corner (bottom-left, naturally), rage-quitting and blaming lag.
Change my mind. Or the minimap. Preferably both.

TL;DR: Minimap stuck harder than my squad in spawn. Can’t pone noobs. Send help. Or a crowbar.
