WoW, it's been a very long time since I have read a post so well put together and so right too.
I sincerely hope this is taken on board.
I also hope, in vain maybe, that the forum moderators copy this and send it to the heads of feedback and game development too.
It’s a shame to see a legendary franchise like Battlefield become a cautionary tale of "live service" greed. Its a store front disguised as a game. By shifting to that cookie-cutter, Call of Duty-style monetization, they’ve managed to alienate the very people who kept the series alive for over two decades. If BF7 launches with the same philosophy, it won't just be a bad game—it will likely be the moment the franchise loses its identity for good.
There is a reason BO7 failed miserably, EA looked at this and said "Hold my beer".At least Activision has enough commonsense to release prox chat on launch
First thing I saw when I bought battlefield 6 was more ads asking for me to spend money , was actually shocked they're following Activision's footsteps
