It’s a shame to see a legendary franchise like Battlefield become a cautionary tale of "live service" greed. Its a store front disguised as a game. By shifting to that cookie-cutter, Call of Duty-style monetization, they’ve managed to alienate the very people who kept the series alive for over two decades. If BF7 launches with the same philosophy, it won't just be a bad game—it will likely be the moment the franchise loses its identity for good.
There is a reason BO7 failed miserably, EA looked at this and said "Hold my beer".
