Appreciate you popping in a screenshot of your own loadout! I'll get it added to the main post!
Also I like the idea of using the deployable cover. having a portable hard cover even if only for a few moments can really make the difference
Thanks dude, you're welcome.
I saw someone use the deployable cover in a video to save themselves from a grenade, and thought it'd help with my risky revive addiction 🤣

ElliotLH I find the deployable cover very situational. It sometimes is hit and miss to get correct placement. If the victim is out in te open on a flat surface it works, but I still would accompany it with smoke grenades. Too few medics use them because they don’t want to give up offensive capabilities.
I typically run the smoke launcher in combo with incendiary grenades when playing medic. I use the smokes to conceal the revive and the incendiary to block the path of the suspected threat.

Yes, that's a definite drawback to the shield. I sometimes swap it out with the smoke launcher if I want to mix things up or try encouraging my team to push up. Occasionally I'll pull out the mortar, too, but generally only towards the end of those matches where we're attacking and get stuck on the first sector.

Oh I've not thought of pairing the incendiaries with smokes for area denial. Thats a really good idea RanzigeRidder2 I'll have to put that into my loadout for a few matches to see how well it works for my playstyle.

So long as I'm not getting mixed up with an older title, incendiaries also remove enemy smoke. If I am remembering things correctly, which I very much may not be, that's a nice bonus for using them.
Edit: I am indeed mistaken. It's the other way around.
