I agree 100%. We have been loyal fans of BF since before most of the current players were even old enough to game. Even Battlefield Vietnam had bots, which is where I learned how to fly choppers, while listening to "I fought the Law" on repeat. BF2042 was enjoyable because if the solo/coop mode. After a working day I could jump into the game, pick a game mode, pick a map, and start playing with bots. As my brother and our others friends came in from work they would join the party and just jump in. Good times without trying to find a game with actual players after long queue times, just to find that half the enemy team are sniping from all the hills and rooftops, so that you can't move without being headshot..... And half of our team are doing exactly the same, so only a fraction of the players are actually playing the objectives. How boring.
Then BF6 beta came out. And the trailers promised Portal games with progression. So we bought the game based on that promise. And lo and behold. Two weeks in out way of playing got tanked because of XP farms, which was only created because the grind for most of the unlockable gadgets and weapons were very sloggy on PVP games, even for veteran players. So now we can't create our own verified servers with bots, even without XP. And still there is no solo/coop option officially available.
I wish fervently that this is  temporary action while they find a solution that suits everyone. The fact is that most my colleagues won't buy a battlepass or xp boosters just to progress in irritating sloggy games against players who already farmed to unlock all the good stuff before the nerf, because we feel that we as ore casual players have once again been thrown to the side for streamers and influencers who can afford to spend multiple hours per day playing only BF6.
That being said, if I feel that I and others like me are being heard and recognized by DICE and our way of playing is restored, I would happily put in more money to buy a battle pass or other content, I really enjoy the game and I will support it further, but not if I no longer am allowed to play my way, as was promised in the pre-release trailer.
