The Battlefield series has neither potential nor popularity. The only one that was truly popular was BF3. BF4 only sold well because COD messed up at the time. That's why they should make it more like COD.

The creators of Battlefield (their management) see how much Call of Duty is making $ from microtransactions and would like to do the same here – that's the main problem.
For the $100 price, we get little in return, and the quality is very poor.
Therefore, in the future, they will focus more attention on the Battle Royale mode than on other modes. How is it possible that previous games offered a wide range of gameplay options, while here we only have a few? Periodically changed – meaning deliberately blocked.
