Would love it if we could have 8-12 person parties that you can maybe have up to 2 or 3 squads in a party as I have more than 3 friends that like to play the game with me and theres now way to ever get in same game. Doesn’t seem that hard for matchmaking if there’s not enough room in a game your party would just be the first in an empty server
Yep, same here. I have 6 friends who want to buy the game, but in beta we can play together only if they start connecting to us when we find the game lobby. So, if there will be no server browser on release it will be difficult to play together.
Exactly! They should go from 4-8 and max have people 2 per class if anything, for us that have friends lol
All they need to do is let us be in a party of max 8-12 depending on the mode you are playing i guess to balance it? and if you have say 6 ppl let the other 2 be in their own squad or merge with 2 other people.
Please expand Parties to 18 with 3 squads of 6 each.
My friend's list is full, sometimes we have 16 players on a night playing BF4 in the same server. Your 4-person limit is prohibiting us from playing on the same server, essentially killing clans and team play. Is someone trying to say we should not have more than 3 friends?
I wouldn't expect them to change the squad size to 6, they've balanced and developed it for being 4. That said, I do wish that the party size was greater than 4 (even 8 would be great with two full squads) to be able to join a match together. Being the odd person or two left out of a party is god awful and more often than not leads me to just not play.
I feel like clans would abuse the heck out of this and create teamspeak servers just to simulate SQUAD and poop on casual players.

Keep in mind this is battlefield, not some cell phone game. Teamwork is supposed to be required to win the game.

We already use TeamSpeak and Discord because the communications in BF5 and BF1 were horrible and mostly went back to BF4 because 8 to 10 of us could play on the same server, many times against each other. You clearly don't understand playing with a group of friends, or you have no friends.
Waiting in the queue is ridiculous, half the match is over by the time you get in, then the round ends and you have to do it again? Party size should be raised to 12 or 16 allowing you to follow your friends, or servers should be persistent such that if we wish to play for several hours we can play with friends.

All I'm saying is big clans are going to abuse this and ruin the fun for everyone. Im talking 32 people queing one lobby, playing mil sim. This happens in every other game that allows this, like Arma, Squad, Rust, you name it. Having a party of 8 coordinated players guarantees a 99% win rate, and kills the fun for the opposing team. It's simply unfair.
I'm sure there will be custom game modes that allow larger groups and clan wars later down the road, but it shouldn't be a thing on official servers in my opinion.
