Can you stop with flashy nonsense skins?

Seriously what you guys are thinking? You want to sell skins? Good, there are plenty of military uniforms out there! Stop with skull and samurai masks, capes or whatever! Here are some ideas: Bersaglieri

Alpini

Folgore

I agree; the latest skins added to the game are awful. All the ones with masks feel completely out of place—it looks like *Call of Duty*. I’m a *Battlefield* veteran; if I wanted the *CoD* style, I’d play that game instead, but I’m not interested because I don’t like it.

Battlefield* used to be a game for men; now it looks like it’s aimed at *Fortnite* players. What they’re doing to this franchise is a disaster.

Even the latest battle pass features disastrous, hideous skins that look like they were made by AI.

  • You're right: there is a lot of flashy stuff out there that would only appeal to kids. Given the more important issues they should be focusing on, taking the time and effort to offer this type of rubbish makes it look like their priorities are upside down.

I agree completely; however it doesn't interfere with my game play or strategy, but it can interfere with the classic Battlefield immersion.  Sometimes I've stopped in game to marvel at some player with a cape, and how badly it conflicts with the immersion.

Oh, well, game is still fun.

And to add to it, if DICE is going down this path, then please give those players who want classic skins some love.  The amount of locked skins and faces is terrible and I'm pretty sick of running with the same one.  Give us a lot more options for regular skins that are not locked or locked, but easier to grind.

This way we can have a balance between the COD crowd and regular BF players.  Only seems fair to me.

Unfortunately we don’t have many choices, Arma is a milsim, so it’s too much real and boring IMHO, Wardogs it’s something between Arma and battlefield, but still boring, I like Battlefield because it feels real, but isn’t a milsim, and it’s still enough arcade to be fun, it’s like I’m playing a war movie from Hollywood, the dream is a game mode without HUD and locked skins, easily recognizable, that would be awesome, I would play that 24/7

Heavily agree about enemy skins that are recognizable.  Yes, you have the dorito to show an enemy, but when you are running and gunning up close, it would be great to get a visual of an enemy via their uniform.

I dislike how everyone has the same generic COD uniform.

Yes it doesn’t interfere with gameplay, but is an immersion killer 😭 I play with vignette, film grain, chromatic aberration because it feels like cinema, I play with the default camera roll when you do the somersault, the movement of the camera when you run and shake effect (don’t know why all these things can be disabled, it should be on without the option to disable it)

I really hope the new Cod will be good for Cod players, so they can leave BF6, and old fans can return to play it happily. I don’t mind about Cod, I simply don’t play it, what I hate is when Cod players join BF and want it to be more like Cod, what the hell?! Go away!

I’m with you on this: the game is still fun, and this rubbish does not affect gameplay. However, it does give a glimpse into what kind of priorities EA has, and what kind of demographic they are targeting. Again, I certainly won’t stop playing because of it, but since they can’t please everyone, I think we’d be better off without all this flashy, garish content being offered.

  • There’s no need to overcomplicate things here; the solution is simple—take a page out of Medal of Honor: Warfighter's book. Recreate the uniforms of world-renowned special forces units from various countries and add them to the game; Battlefield veterans and loyal fans would appreciate the gesture.

Even if they were sold in separate store packs using in-game currency, plenty of players would likely buy them to represent their own regions.

The rest of the kids with Call of Duty syndrome can run around like clowns in colorful clothes with glowing elements that make it easier for us to spot them - these are the main recipients of these funny new skins anyway.
