Okay, now this will be a heated debate for many. BUT hear me out, I think this will make everyone happy. Why don't you give the choice of gender and race to the players, rather than a decision forced by someone else? I completely agree with a grounded cosmetic, keep it realistic. But on that note, if someone wants to play as a man, let them. If they wanna play as a woman, LET THEM. Same goes for race. This would be a revolutionary outlook on the game, since many games now days force this decision rather than letting people make the choice themselves. All I am saying is let people be or play who they want. This is the only way to be sure EVERYONE is happy. Its a great game, especially for beta. Its nice to see battlefield getting back to its roots and the origin of what made the series great. If this was implemented, it would be VERY successful in many eyes of the players. I cannot be alone in the sentiment of wanting choice.
I 100% agree. It feels personal this way, too. But I'd keep things very simple. Black or white. Male or female. Done.
This is a great idea. In the era of character customization, let players 'create' their own characters by choosing their sex and various physical characteristic, like skin color. There isn't anything controversial about it. This approach resolves this whole issue. Cheers.
Do not let the 5% blue-hairs out there tell you this is controversial. Its is not. To think that just 10 years ago with Battlefield 4 we still all agreed that battlefields are for men. And today you can't play a wargame without being forced to play as a female. And the worst part, they know we don't want it. How do you know? Look at the trailers. Not a single woman in sight. But open up the game and all you hear is screeching because half of the characters around you have shrill high-pitched voices.
I 100% agree. At least make gender a choice. Forcing half of all players to be women by mandating 2 of the 4 classes to be played by women is obnoxious and make me just want to go back to playing BF3.
