This is probably going to make things a lot worse tbh. With publicly traded businesses, there can be hundreds if not thousands of shareholders who have a say in the business. Now you have only 2 or 3. And they didn’t buy it because they like games or have the best interests of players in mind. They want to make much more money. So I wouldn’t be surprised if prices go up, more micro transactions, layoffs, etc.
