Game is on sale 45% off, did they revert pve blocks or should I not bother

Hey all again, I was wondering if you can start an AI match without needing 6 players and still progress in it like they advertised before release. Did these liars fix it or is it still the same?

Still the same. Well, mostly the same. 4 players now instead of 6, but same same. You can solo in custom experiences, but no progression other than XP and battlepass progression. The custom experiences that they choose to feature and give progression to, still don't actually give progression, as far as I can tell.
I have published a couple dozen different PVE options on this forum, but they don't offer the progression that you are looking for. I have also published a dozen free-to-play options, so you can still play them solo without even buying the 45% off game. Rather than spam the thread, I'll let you decide if you want to ask for more details.

I fell into this trap too. I bought the game and honestly regret it. In previous Battlefield games, the PvE/Solo-Co-op mode was my favorite way to play. I enjoy playing against AI, improving my skills, and having a more relaxed experience. The fact that this mode is basically gone is unbelievable to me. I was genuinely disappointed when I downloaded the game and realized it wasn’t there.

It was my favorite mode in 2042. Im glad to see the player numbers falling off a cliff for bf6. They 100% deserve it for doing this. Star wars battlefront 2015 is completely unplayable because they didn’t bother adding AI save for a few vanilla modes, and now bf6 is floundering. Dice seriously needs to reconsider their PVE approach.

I completely agree. It’s a real shame because the campaign is actually pretty good and enjoyable. But when I jump into multiplayer, I get killed every 15 seconds. That’s exactly why Solo/Co-op against AI was my favorite way to play in previous Battlefield games. It let me enjoy the gameplay, improve at my own pace, and have fun without constantly getting destroyed. I really hope DICE reconsiders and brings it back.

There is casual breakthrough, 16 players + 32 bots, you can train there and unlock stuff, once you’re good enough you try other modes
