It has to be a hardware ban.
About 15 years ago my buddy quit his job and modded controllers with macros like rapid fire for Call of Duty out of his garage and sold them online. You can buy them at Walmart now.
He used multiple 3 party softwares to do it. Seen people here posting they use the same software yet claim they have been falsely banned. Yet they admitted to using software that can be used to cheat.
Almost all 3rd party software has the ability to make macros. Macros are whats used to create cheats.
