Help. Can't choose anything in lobby

I can't change gamemode - I can switch around in the lobby navigation tree, but as soon as i try to press a gamemode, Im taken back to the top. I can access the first gamemode I ever press, but when I go back to browse gamemodes, then I cant do anything.

Also sound has gotten awful. I cannot hear people running up or next to me, and sometimes I hear someone as if they were right beside me, but they are nowhere to be found.
