I got banned from Bf6 due to a cheaters in-game nick
Last Sunday, I was banned for 168(!) hours from my EA account due to an incident in BF6.
I was gaming with a group of friends when a cheater joined our match. He ran around with an LMG, getting headshots left and right as soon as you met him on the map. Even his own teammates started reporting him. By the end of the short match, he had roughly 140–3 K/D.
Throughout the match, many of us messaged him, asking him to leave. My friends and I had finally gotten the map we wanted to play, so we hoped he would quit so we could enjoy the game.
After some time we were all fed up with him and many kept writing to him. I wrote: "in-game nick + F off"
I’ve already submitted an appeal, but the email from EA states it could take up to 10 days for a response. Meanwhile, it’s winter where I live, and my friends and I usually game together after work and on weekends. Now I’m stuck at home, bored, while they continue gaming BF6.
Does anyone know if there’s a way to reach someone at EA directly to speed up the process?
And for the record, being labeled a racist over something I haven't done feels awful. I want EA to not only lift the ban but also issue an apology—or at least acknowledge the mistake.
Thanks for taking the time to read my rant.
