Import Keybinds and Settings From Beta

Hello,

I had taken part in the beta for Battlefield 6 and spent hours fine-tuning my FOV, mouse sensitive, keybinds, graphical settings etc. I tried opening the beta game so that I could at least see what my previous settings were to apply them to BF6 once I get it installed to save time. However, I can no longer open it to see my settings. Is there a way to see what my previous settings were? Possibly a file that's still on my PC from the beta installation? Or possibly have a feature to give BF6 the option to import those settings if you took part in the beta? It would be awesome and save me a ton of precious time!

Thanks!

  • Open file explorer and paste this in search box

    %USERPROFILE%\\Documents\\Battlefield 6 Open Beta\settings

the file with 'profile' in the title contains key bindings - not saying it will work in BF6 tho' !!!!

it can be opened with WordPad

Note - make a back up of the BF6 original before messing around !!!

Thanks, I'll take a look at it! I might be able to at least decipher what the keybinds were if I can't import it directly into the full game.

Any idea about FOV and Mouse sensitivity? Graphical settings are the least of my worries.

I know that Mouse sens is in the list because I was checking only an hour ago..

I'm emphasing caution though - previous titles had a config file with the settings ; I can't find one for BF6.

As a left hander, I hope the file I listed works, as I have a lot of changed bindings -- will be testing it next Friday ;)

I do see the settings in there as well. I also looked in the full game folder and it wasn't there. I'm betting it isn't created until the game is first opened on day one. If EA doesn't implement importing the settings from beta, I may look into creating a script to at least convert the beta values. My guess is the beta file will not work with the full game. From what I can see, there will be much more options in the full game compared to the beta.

Something as simple as this, I don't see why they wouldn't implement this. Assign someone to get this done, EA!
