The actual gameplay doesn't feel different other than people trying to bunny hop but its not as effective as it is in COD. I think the issue that makes it feel significantly more fast paced is map size. Most of the maps in the beta are super close quarter and you will have a difficult time holding down a position. I think the map sizes are a lot of people's complaints on the moment and definitely I think not the games strong point, but that's what betas are for.
And not sure if you are playing on a console, but the snapping is probably just mouse/keyboard players since the game has crossplay. On console you can turn off crossplay which maybe save you from us.
I am running on a PC through the EA app and I can find no setting to turn off crossplay.
Usually it's in the system setting on the game but it might just be for console players, would be nice to have the option on who to cross play with because every time I turn on cross play I'm stuck in a lobby with majority PC players and it's just cancer to say the least, not saying all PC players are cheating but seems like enough to make in unplayable for the rest of us. When I switch it off I swear the difference is astounding and I actually have fun, just can't play with my Xbox buddies when it's off which sucks
