The in game characters aren't running faster, it's the pore game mechanic choices that is making everyone run around like headless chickens. For starters the map designs are really poor, and not just the size- there is barely any part of any map where a player can stop and breathe without being killed from one of half a dozen directions. No flags are defensible, even by a whole squad so that's why no one either attempts to. Just cap and move on. Rinse and repeat. Health regen is far too fast. No need for a medic at all really. We need the return or tiered health regen. This would slow things down because player wouldn't constantly be running around at full health. And auto spotting is definitely OTT. Its a cop out for poor character identification and visibility, and finally just do away with the slide. May make 10 years old happy, but does nothing to gameplay
