Agreed, PC players should be able to disable crossplay too!

Why do you believe that you can not turn off cross-play on PC? source?

There’s no console-only crossplay in Battlefield 6.
When a console player turns crossplay on, the matchmaking will prioritize matching them with other console players. But players from all platforms will be in the matchmaking pool, so you might still get some PC players. If you’re on PC, you won’t have the option to disable crossplay. - sk1lld2 months agoLegend
OskooI_007 Appreciate you letting me know, because of this and other bad decisions by EA I canceled my pre order. May purchase later at a discount but won't pay full price for this mess!

PC players should absolutely be given the option to disable crossplay! We should also have the option to avoid playing against controllers by having M&K matchmaking only. I don't care one bit about crossplay or playing against the handheld controller crowd. And then you have those modded controllers to deal with that will make things even worse. So, please give us an option to play how we want to play, and who we want to play with.
I'm afraid that Dice will ruin BF6 if they do not take the appropriate steps to address these legit concerns for PC players now. Console Carl should NOT be outgunning any M&K player with a clunky a** controller! SMH! 🤬

Console players agree with you!

I agree with this. If I can turn off crossplay on my console, it feels like it'd be fair for PC players to have the same option.

I agree. I want to have the same freedom of choice as console players, whether to turn off mandatory PC + console inclusion or not. I have nothing against this option being available if the player is interested in cross-play. Honestly, the BF6 beta was downright terrifying in terms of console players' auto-aim.
It's important to note that no matter how hard DICE tries to tweak auto-aim, inclusion with console players will never be fair. In the case of Battlefield, CoD, etc., these are highly competitive games and should be set up like sports. Similarly, in sports, it is not possible to fairly achieve competition between incompatible teams. That is why there are separate categories for men, women, youth, or disabled athletes, for example. I may be biased, but cross-play seems to me like forcing men (mouse + keyboard) to compete with women (game controllers) in the weightlifting category. For this purpose, I would have to come up with a nonsensical handicap for men or, conversely, a nonsensical advantage for women to make it possible. There will always be someone who says that the advantage is too small or, conversely, that the handicap is too big. - Alethes2 months agoSeasoned Ace
I struggle to think what EA/DICE's rationale is regarding this whole crossplay shenanigan...!
Why can't PC play against PC only, and Consoles against Consoles only?... Why the forced march together...? I'm dumbfounded as to what the driver for this is.
