Ah yes because all of the PC-only games are just completely dead, right? Right?

I can't agree with that.
The BF series has ALWAYS been about separate gaming platforms. It was never cross-play, and the ecosystem worked great. That is, until the WOKE experiment in the form of BF2042 came along. That's when the whole ecosystem fell apart within a few months.
I still play BF2042 relatively actively, and I have to objectively say that there is a huge difference between playing with and without cross-play enabled. If you are a die-hard fan of the game and a good PC player, you have to feel the difference yourself. Or you are a console player, but then you can never understand this problem from the perspective of a disadvantaged PC player.

PC players are not disadvatanged. SNAP isnt working as many on here think and most experienced players turn it off because its annoying. I dont understand why you think consoles have advantage. I played more in old gen BF2042 because it was easier for me. Much easier. BF aim assisnt isnt near OP as COD aim assist.

Firstly, m&k IS a possibility on consoles...
But this is not about adventage, i never said comsoles would have adventage.
This is about having the same options. If i play the full game, i should have the full options, console players dont have aore expensive product, so they should not have additipnsl options. Im all about disabling crossplay being a option... But It should be a option for everyone or for no one. It IS unfair to buy the same game, same product and same proce and having less options.
Adventage has nothing to do with this.

But snap assist on 2042 is brutal

I hate some much that they didnt make at least input based matchmaking.

Is it? I dont use it because it snaps the nearest limp so when you are a milimiter from head it would snap to an arm. Is it unfair? Yes, but in a scenario unexperienced player w/ it vs unxperienced player w/o it. Glad its gone in BF6 but I expect you will see massive amount of console players complaining that they have no chance against PC. I think significant number of console players had it ON simply because only experienced players tweak settings beyond sensivity, so they would notice a difference I guess...

Not to mention those nasty emulators like cornus zen on consoles, no platform can be truly legit

Crossplay on PC is important, but as a console player, I'm more concerned about why I can't disable playing against K&M players using a gamepad, especially considering that the aim assist in the BF6 beta is significantly worse than, say, in BF2042. Sure, I could buy a K&M and a monitor, but my goodness, how silly that looks.

So it's ok to force cross play because consoles players can use cronus 🫡
