Personally I completely blame Windows 11 '24H2', my system has never been the same since this disastrous update.
I am running the IoT LTSC build on my personal rig, which helps to avoid a lot of the issues. As keen as I usually am to blame microsoft, EA are the ones resposible for breaking this specific functionality. It's too repeatable on multiple machines, and getting any kind of visibility into what else it might be breaking is difficult given it runs at a kernal level.
Everytime something goes wrong with my PC, I don't want to have to second guess if it's EA causing it when the program isn't even running.
