The balancing of the snipers is a joke. The L115 is supposed to be .338 Lapua but has a lower muzzle velocity than the Mini Scout (Sig Cross 6.5cm probably?) and the SV98 (7.62x54r). The PSR (MRAD .300 Norma Mag probably?) has a lower velocity than the M2010 (.300 WM) and the Mini Scout? Both the PSR and L115 have more drop than the M2010? They need to do a lot to fix sniping, starting with removing the Rangefinder's zeroing and dramatically nerfing the Mini Scout.
The Sig Cross is a tacti-cool, overpriced hunting rifle, not a sniper. Why is it arguably the best "sniper" in the game? You'd be lucky to get 2MOA with it under sustained fire but it is laser accurate in game (light profile barrel). Throw the rangefinder on it and bullet drop is irrelevant, so I dont see a downside to it, aside from the fact that only losers use the rangefinder.
I'm not a stickler on the velocity being exact to real life since it is a video game, but they need to put the guns in the proper order. Most of the 7.62x51 LMGs have faster muzzle velocity than the big sniper rifles.
They also need to add suppression back and increase scope sway in order to limit the "strafe, bob, and weave" style sniping that is currently predominant. Snipers stay still for a lot of good reasons IRL.
