Hey everyone,Since we already have a mission list for the Single-Player Campaign, I started thinking about the Battlefield series and its campaigns — I know a lot of us like to dive into them when we’re not knee-deep in multiplayer chaos. What do you think about the single-player campaigns overall? Do you have any missions from past games that really stood out to you? Which one was the absolute best in your opinion? And on the flip side, which mission felt like the weakest or most frustrating? I’m curious to hear everyone’s favorites — it’s always fun to see which missions left a mark. And I know that, multiplayer gives us those unscripted “life-writes-the-narrative” moments… but campaigns are where Battlefield gets to tell its story.

The coop missions from bf3 were awesome.

Ah, yes! I remember the one where you play pilot and gunner with your buddy. It was great fun.

Or the stealth one where you have to time your shots, they were all great fun.

I really enjoy a single-player campaign, mostly because I didn't do a lot of multiplayer gaming before I got into the Battlefield series, so I'm looking forward to the one in BF6 very much. I'm quite pleased that it doesn't seem to be the same style as BF1 and BFV, with episodic stories, as while I enjoyed them, I felt that they limited the storytelling overall. The ones that stick in my mind are the intro/first mission in BF4 (every now and then I fall apaaarrrrtttttttt), the final mission in BF4 where you have to decide who or what to sacrifice, the intro mission and the pigeon flight in BF1, and, despite what I said above, The Last Tiger from BFV (it reminded me a lot of "Johann's Tiger" from the Garth Ennis "War Stories" comic series). The most frustrating one, without a doubt, was Forte et Fidele in BF1. I'm still traumatised from hearing 'I'M A STAND-UP KINDA GUY' so much while trying to unlock the Airborne Cannons codex. If memory serves, I had to roll back a patch and do it offline, so I could use the AA guns as they were before they were balanced in multiplayer, since the changes fed through to single-player. Edit: And now I've got Total Eclipse of The Heart stuck in my head 🤣

Steeve_BF I loved the Bad Company campaigns. The personality of the squad keeps it memorable for me even now so many years since the games release.

I haven't played all of the titles, but they were all good. Personally, I prefer shorter movie scenes.

Just to get back to my post - so I have replayed the Battlefield 3 campaign again and it's still great. If you haven't played it, I highly recommend to grab BF3 during frequent discounts (for 1-2 EUR/USD or so) and give it a shot. The game still looks quite good for its age and it's one of the best, if not the best, campaigns Battlefield ever had so far. :)

You're right, the fighter level is unforgettable for me, after all, it was my second battlefield game. In previous works, there were still two person fighter jets in Battlefield 2, so can two person fighter jets return in multiplayer mode in the future? After all, some of the players and I had extremely poor spatial and directional awareness in the air, to the point where we crashed during takeoff and couldn't enjoy playing fighter jets😭. However, I can definitely take on the role of a good co pilot and gunner, experiencing the fun of the battlefield. For this reason, I even posted a special post.😀
